SYMMETRIES
These works explore different symmetries: two-fold, three-fold, four-fold, five-fold and six-fold. Lush and layered, the pieces are created entirely digitally, yet they are deeply informed by my 30+ years of experience in materials-and-process-based painting, drawing and collage. The images are sometimes clamorous, yet seem to exude out of a vast silence. Narratives are suggested: some joyful, some tense, some brooding, but nothing is concluded, as each image seems to be in the process of moving into another configuration, the nature of which is mysterious.
