THE 2001 BOOK
In 2001 I raided my pile of collected Xeroxes and laser copies and drew on them, diary-like, throughout the year, creating 365 double page spreads. The passage of time was marked with two sets of waxing and waning concentric circles: the top set symbolizing the month and the bottom set the day. Not one for routine, I occasionally rebelled and did not complete that day’s circle-calendar, but I would always return to the practice. 2001 turned out to be a historically momentous year.
